Envelope Addressing

We offer both hand calligraphy and computer calligraphy to adorn your wedding envelopes.

What we need from you

Envelopes (with 10% - 15% overage)

Address list in Excel or other spreadsheet

One invitation (we’ll return it, no worries…)

Calligraphy style

Ink color

Due date

Scheduled drop off date

Pay at pick up or before delivery

What we'll do for you:

Check our calendar and provide a quote

Email you a photo of a sample envelope in the style you prefer (optional)

Create a proof list of your addresses for your approval

Provide etiquette advice, then you decide what’s best for your guests

After list approval, we’ll get the job done!

Take care of last minute changes to the address list, no worries!

Repackage your envelopes for pickup or shipping

Email invoice and job completion notification for pickup or delivery scheduling.

We offer free delivery for jobs within 15 miles of our studio if the order is $500 or more and payment is completed via VENMO or QuickBooks bank transfer (link in invoice) prior to scheduling delivery

Take care of additions to the address list. ($15 set up fee plus cost of addressing)

Turnaround Time:

Hand calligraphy: allow about one week per 100 addresses (conservative estimate)

Computer calligraphy: 3-5 business days after list approval

Tip:

You can save money by using hand calligraphy on the envelopes for your family, the bridal party, and guests who appreciate handwritten details, then selecting our high-quality computer printing for the rest of your guests! Just sayin’.

Please provide your list in Excel format with each line of the address in separate columns. We have an address template you can download to help you with formatting. All abbreviations should be spelled out for addresses and states.
A full name (Mr. John Mark Smith; Mr. and Mrs. John Smith; Ellen Smith, etc.), Apartment or Number or Unit spelled out, and "and Family", "The Future" -- each will be counted as one line. Extra-long lines may be counted as multiple lines.
TIP: For less formal envelopes, “Apartment”, “Number” or # can be replaced with a small bullet symbol ° to reduce the number of lines.
Prices are for standard envelope sizes not to exceed 6” x 9”. For larger envelopes, the prices may be higher depending the on the size of lettering you prefer.
Prices are for left-indented layout with the zip code on the same line as the city and state. If you prefer a different layout such as centering, please let us know.
NOTE: Additional fees may apply for unusual layouts or extra-large lettering.
A zip code does not count as an additional line if it’s placed on a separate line from the city and state. If you prefer the zip code on a separate line, please let us know.
TIP: The Post Office prefers the zip code on the same line after the city and state.
Prices do not include writing the return address on the outer envelope back flap. If you would like the return address written or printed on the back flap, please let us know and we’ll provide you with a quote.
Additional embellishments such as flourishing or illustrations will incur additional fees.
