Invitation Design & Spot Calligraphy

Design your big day with us...

Custom invitation design allows you to be part of the design process as you work with your calligrapher and stationer to select the style, layout, and embellishments to reflect the theme and personality of your big event.

You’ll have the freedom to create a look that would be difficult to achieve using ordinary computer fonts. The names of the bride and groom can be intertwined… flourishes can be subtle or dramatic… whatever fits your style!

What we'll do for you:

Check our calendar and provide a quote

Guide you in choosing a style

Provide a first draft within 5 business days

Provide up to 2 additional drafts for minor changes

After approval, email you the invoice. Upon payment, we’ll email you and your stationer the design files

Turnaround Time:

Usually between 5 and 10 business days

Full payment is due prior to beginning the design.
Designs are for the personal use only of the client paying for the calligraphy artwork. The client may not sell or give away the artwork, or derivatives of the artwork, without written permission from PenDance Studio.
The price of the design includes up to 2 requests for minor changes to the design. Any changes requested after the 3rd draft may incur additional design fees.
Minor changes to the design do NOT include changing the calligraphy style or changing the wording of the design. Changing the style or wording after the first draft is submitted by PenDance will always incur additional design fees.
If you request changes to the design, please allow up to 2 business days for the next draft.
The client and stationer/printer are responsible for all proofreading and ensuring that the text and layout are correct before going to print.
If there is an error in the proof and the client does not notify PenDance of the error before the artwork is printed, the client agrees that PenDance is not liable in any way for the error and that the client will bear the cost of additional design or printing fees that may be incurred to correct the error.
After final delivery of the design, any requested changes may incur additional design fees.
The design does not include printing services or writing out the invitations by hand. We will provide you the artwork in electronic format and email the files to your favorite printer or stationer for printing.
The price does not include additional embellishments such as monograms or other ornamentation.
